I hauled away 500 pounds of yard waste for my parents, then they bought me teriyaki. Worth it.

Dude I’d do SO MUCH more yard work if I could have some place to dispose of it. I’m contemplating paying a landscaper a ridiculous sum just because idk what to do with the leaves and sticks if i were to do it myself.

Also, I bought myself a new garage with a house attached to it. Many chandeliers.

A bummer. The weather kept me from flying again today. So, I kept searching for a plane to buy. I discovered that the one I thought would work for me would be perfect as long as I didn’t take anyone else with me. The plane is designed to carry two 150 lb adults with a little baggage.

Now I have to double my budget to get something with a reasonable useful load.

Here’s hoping Sunday is better.

if it makes you feel better, we got only 2 runs. W e have passes that allow us to use one lift from 3-430 only... p retty much all a #content budget affords... Perfect for teaching but its not what you would call a day of skiing. Still, good times were had.

Recovery from last night (didn't get home until 5:30am) , slept all day, tried to order delivery and they were out of what I wanted. Tried to order from another place and they didn’t offer delivery, not even a 3rd party service. 3rd place used OrderUp. Clicked the link, found it’s now part of GrubHub. Ok, fine. Except the restaurant I wanted to order from wasn’t listed at all!

Broke down and made 2 grilled cheese sandwiches with Swiss on one and Colby Jack on the other. Accidentally burnt them both by spacing out watching Macau Grand Prix races on YouTube.* Sliced off the burnt stuff to turn 2 sandwiches into 1.

I’ve given up for the rest of the day. At least Gary is happy to have me all to herself.

*proof that I was right not to drive anywhere for carryout

I did... n othing. It was great. I should’ve shaken the 4Runner down, but it’s in the 30's and rainy, and I didn’t feel like getting stranded in it.

I’m on call this weekend. I had to work for 8 hours, and 4 of those were incredibl y frustrating. So I’m relaxing now and watching Netflix.

3 trips, all the branches left by the landscaper were uncut and too long, and he also broke my dad's chainsaw... My truck is a half-ton by the way, most I've hauled was 1,128 lbs... Slowly.

Helped a neighbor down the street pack a U-Haul. Did some woodworking. Went grocery shopping. Currently waiting for the oven to finish pre-heating to bake some bread. A pretty good day, I'd say.

Got my son to scouts  camping early this morning. It was about 40 with Washington style heavy rain all day. They ended up calling it off and coming home around 6PM .

My wife finally goes in for her intestinal surgery on Thursday, so we spend most of the day getting the house ready. My mom and sister are coming in town to help out. Wife will be in the hospital for 4-8 days.

I thought it would be a good idea to go small and cheap. I went to look at Cessna 150 that was in really bad shape week before last. I found another that is in excellent shape and spoke with the owner. Everything he said sounded good, so I started looking at some of the performance specs. I’m glad I did. I didn’t realize how limited they really are.

I need something with a little more useful load.
